At the HEART of this BROKERAGE

Well, it is just ME!! So, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I grew up in rural Binger, Oklahoma, and I went on to graduate from Southwestern Oklahoma State University with a degree in home economics, emphasis in interior design, and an endorsement in marketing. I taught in the Oklahoma Public School System for several years. In 2002 I moved to Texas and decided to change career paths. I started out by helping my husband with his rental properties and became interested in the world of real estate.  This led to classes in distressed properties and foreclosures and  buying and selling foreclosures. Then, in June of 2010, I started working as a licensed real estate agent in Texas and became licensed in Oklahoma in October of 2013.  I became an associate broker in Texas in December of 2016, worked as a broker in charge since the start of 2019, and formed Sonya Smith Real Estate Group, LLC in August of 2019.

I have one son, Sean; he is a fireman, who is a sergeant, for the Oklahoma City Fire Department I have a daughter-in-law, Lacey, who is a beautician and works full time for a propane company. Plus, I have two grandsons; Hagen and Rowdy.   I could go on and on about my awesome son and his precious family. But to sum it up:  They're my SUNSHINE!!

I am married to the Love of my Life, Jack Smith, co-owner, my HERO and First line of defense!! Plus, he is the hardest working man!! He inspires me with his tenacity and ability to just keep right on going!! He is the go-to guy for solutions!! I can count on him to be my Problem SOLVER!!
